Education

I am currently a 1st year student in a 5 year Doctoral program for Clinical and School Psychology. I received my B.S in Psychology from Caldwell University when I was 20, with a 4.0 GPA. I received my A.A. from County College of Morris the year before, in Humanities/Social Science (graduated 2013, 3.8 GPA).

Experience

I taught religious education for 5 years, and have tutored younger cousins (and sometimes even my older sister!). I also had an internship working with and teaching a 5 year old with Autism. I understand the stress of being a student and the worry of not understanding a subject. I want to help others do the best they can in school, and foster self-esteem and encouragement in all walks of life. I have taken a wealth of psychology courses (in undergraduate and continuing in graduate school), but have always loved English and Science as well. I also attended a Vocational high school where I specialized in Veterinary Science (I love animals!). If you are interested, here are the scores from my SAT (taken 2011) and GRE (taken 2014): SAT Reading (680), Math (650), Writing (720) GRE Verbal Reasoning (159), Quantitative Reasoning (155), Writing (4).

Hobbies

I come from a family that values hard work, so I have held one or two jobs all throughout my college career. I received my Bachelors degree two years early, making me only 20 and in graduate school. I love reading, baking, and cuddling with my puppy in my spare time, and love to be outdoors, but spend much of my time doing research or working (on homework, projects, upcoming presentations). I understand that plans do not always work out, and money can become an issue, and am willing to make my schedule and rate work around yours. I truly believe I can help a student understand the material a teacher may not be presenting well, and would give 100% in trying to achieve that.
